Bioethicist D. Gareth Jones Reflects on a Life in Biomedical Science, Faith, and Ethical Dilemmas

What is it like to be both a committed bioethicist and Christian thinking through the complex issues of today? D. Gareth Jones offers a glimpse in his new book At the Margins: A Life in Biomedical Science, Faith, and Ethical Dilemmas, a personal reflection on his own involvement in various bioethical issues over the years.

These include the ethics of procuring and studying deceased bodies, the COVID pandemic, the ethics of cystic fibrosis, IVF and the study of fertilised human eggs, same-sex attraction, and living as a Christian in a secular world.
