Whether you join us as a supporting member, follow us on social media, or subscribe to our mailing list, we’re thankful for your part in supporting the important conversation between Christianity and the sciences.
Becoming a supporting member is one of the best ways you can contribute to the work and mission of ISCAST.
ISCAST has four categories of supporting members:
- Associate
- Corporate & Family
- Student/Concession
- Fellow
If you are interested in joining ISCAST as a supporting member in one of the first three categories, you can do so using the online application form at our membership and payments interface. If you would prefer to download a membership form and send it by mail, you can download the PDF here.
Note that being a supporting member does not mean that you are a company member of ISCAST Ltd. Company members have certain responsibilities, entitlements, and liabilities. Fellows are eligible to apply to become company members.
Associate Member
Associates are supporters of ISCAST but they do not have the qualifications, time or interest required to become Fellows. They support ISCAST’s Vision, Mission and Core Values. Many ISCAST associates are among our most active members and are key supporters of ISCAST’s program through financial and other means.
Associate members receive:
- discounts to ISCAST events and bookshop
- A FREE copy of Science & Christianity: Understanding the Conflict Myth by ISCAST Executive Director Rev. Dr Chris Mulherin
Associates become supporting members through the online application form. The Associate membership fee is $90 per year.
Corporate & Family Member
Organisations wishing to support the work of ISCAST are encouraged to become corporate supporting members. Families too may wish to support ISCAST but may not want to pay a subscription for each member or receive multiple copies of ISCAST correspondence.
Corporate and Family supporting members receive the same benefits available to ISCAST Associates and become members through the online application form.
The Corporate and Family Membership is $120 per year.
Student/Concession Member
Many members of ISCAST remember with gratitude the access we had to wise scientists and other vocational mentors. They influenced us through their Christian faith and they helped us to understand the issues involved in the conversation about Christian faith and the sciences. ISCAST is keen to provide this same access for today’s science and theological students.
Some members of ISCAST who are not students are no longer in the same financial situation as they might have been. If finances are tight, they can also use the Student/Concession level of supporting membership.
Student/Concession supporting membership of ISCAST is $25 per year, offering the same benefits as Associates as well as access to some of Australia’s top scientists.
ISCAST is currently investigating the possibility of developing a student program focussed on senior secondary and undergraduate university students, particularly those studying science and/or theology.

Fellowship
ISCAST fellows are people who subscribe to ISCAST’s Vision, Mission and Core Values and have appropriate qualifications and experience. Fellows of ISCAST seek to integrate a view of the world as revealed in the Bible with a view of the world as discovered through the sciences.
Fellowship membership is $220 per year.
