Prayer is a powerful way you can support the mission of ISCAST. Your prayers for ISCAST’s ministry are heard by our Father in heaven and, by his grace, all our work is made possible. Here are some ways in which you can pray:
For our staff and volunteers
Please pray that Chris, Sarah, Brittany, Doru, David, Warren, Peter, Emma, and Claire will be strengthened and equipped to do the work that God has prepared for them at ISCAST. Pray that the Holy Spirit will guide them in all their endeavours.
For our schools ministry
Pray that God would open up more opportunities for ISCAST to speak in schools and reach students around Australia. Please pray that students will be moved by the resources ISCAST provides, and that they will engage in fruitful conversations about science and Christianity. Pray that non-Christian students who are interested in science will be led to Jesus, and that Christian students will not turn away from the sciences because of their faith. Pray too for our engagement with teachers through offering professional learning to help them deal with science and faith issues in the classroom.
For wisdom and guidance in decision-making
Pray for Chris and the ISCAST Board, that they will make decisions that glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.
For the ISCAST community
Please pray that the work of ISCAST will enrich the lives of all those who are connected with ISCAST, as well as the lives of those around them. Pray that the community will share in vibrant conversations, spurring each other on in worship, understanding, and growing in love for one another.
For those who need to hear our message
Pray that those who are misinformed about the nature of Christian faith will be led to the truth in Christ Jesus. Pray for troubled hearts to be comforted, and for all conversations to be fruitful and loving. Pray especially for young people who feel convinced that science disproves God—that they will continue to seek the truth to be found in the one who said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.”
