An Unnecessary War: The Tragedy and Wasted Effort of the Conflict between Science and Religion

Modern students are often required to choose which, from among the different messages they receive from their parents and teachers, they can accept as true. 

In fact, the world is full of contradictory messages, confusing to adults as well. Ultimately, we all have to decide what sources of information to trust.

We all have to answer the two critical questions that life throws at us: who can tell us most truthfully about how things are, and which things matter?

Could the supposed conflict between science and religion be defused with dignity, working together for the benefit of both domains?⁠ ⁠
