Does Complexity Point to a Creator? A Review of “The Mind in the Matrix”

The Mind in the Matrix: What the Complexity of the Universe Tells Us About Meaning by Dr Robert Wiles aims to show that an intelligent mind is required to both create meaningful information and to interpret it.

The book investigates the significance of information, meaning, and complexity, ultimately making an argument for the existence of a “Creator God.”

In his review, Charles Sherlock says, “Robert Wiles argues throughout that much scientific and philosophical work does not take adequate account of information as foundational to material existence, especially human. He makes a very strong case for the significance of the “Infosphere,” which shifted my thinking—not something that happens very often!”
