What would life look like if we could live longer, boost our intelligence, and improve our physical abilities? Could we ever upload a human consciousness? Should we modify genomes to eliminate anti-social behaviour?
Can we—should we—upgrade humanity?
Transhumanism seeks to use technology to improve the human condition. It raises important questions about human dignity, technological advancement, and the future of humanity.
Humanity 2.0? Christian Perspectives on Transhumanism explores the history and philosophy of the transhumanist movement, current technological advancements (and those coming soon), and how Christians can grapple with the cultural and ethical challenges ahead.
It features the work of multiple authors, each contributing their unique perspectives to guide Christians in thoughtful, informed discussion about what it means to be human.
