Does the Bible offer guidance to navigate the AI age?

Join Australian Christian Book of the Year winners Stephen Driscoll and Christopher Watkin to explore the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence through the lens of Christian thought.

Stephen will reflect on AI in light of what it means for humans to be made in the image of God and AI to be made in our image. What does the Bible say, and particularly the first chapters of Genesis?

Christopher will address the crisis of what it means to be a human being today; it’s a crisis AI has made harder to ignore. Why do dreams of human mastery so often end in exhaustion and dependence? And how does the Bible’s vision of the human being offer a more liberating way to navigate the AI age?

Together, the speakers will offer thoughtful, complementary perspectives to help us navigate AI with wisdom and theological depth.
