We’re told that the church buried a whole millennium of history in a scientific dark age, and fought the Enlightenment with tooth and claw.
But is this really true?
Drawing on the work of contemporary science historians, this talk will unearth the real history of science and the church.

About the speaker
Declan Ellis studied history at Curtin University, where he met his wife Lizzy. Currently, he works as a bookstore manager, while also speaking regularly about faith, science and reason at churches and Christian organisations. Declan’s other passion is writing, and he is the author of a number of science fiction short stories.
