Confessions of a Meddlesome Economist: New book from ISCAST Fellow Ian Harper

We are delighted to announce the release of the latest 'meddlesome' volume from ISCAST Fellow Ian Harper.

If the publisher's description is anything to go by, it sounds like required reading!

Ian Harper just cannot stop meddling. During his 35-year career as a high-profile economist reviewing Australia’s competition policy, Victoria’s state finances or chairing the Australian Fair Pay Commission, he has acted out of a passionate belief that economists can actually be useful.

Science & Faith: Enemies or Friends? A Victorian youth event

We’re delighted to announce a very special Science & Faith event aimed at youth, hosted by St Hilary's Church and featuring ISCAST Fellows James Garth (main speaker) and Christina Smith-Blom (panelist).

The promo reads, "James Garth is a real-live rocket scientist and works in a very high level within the scientific community in Australia and is an excellent speaker in the area of Science & Faith. He also builds cool drones and recently worked at the Avalon Air Show."

(We hope James likes that description of himself, because we do! Eds.)
