Destination moon: more missions, more science

When:
Sunday, August 18, 2019 - 11:00
Where:

St Peter’s Eastern Hill, 15 Gisborne St, East Melbourne

St Peter's Eastern Hill will be recognising science week with an event involving a service, afternoon tea, and a discussion on the theme of science week for 2019 – namely, Destination moon: more missions, more science. Our Executive Director, Chris Mulherin, will be preaching at the service.

The discussion will look at some questions raised by the topic, such as:

  • Why should we go to the moon in the first place?
  • Shouldn't we clean up on Earth first?
  • What if we find signs of intelligent life from there (or beyond)? How does this affect our Christian faith

Victorian ISCASTians have been invited to celebrate mass, and/or come along to the discussion at 12:30.
