Reverend Professor Denis Edwards

Rev. Prof. Denis Edwards is associate professor in systematic and historical theology at Flinders University. He teaches for Catholic Theological College and is a priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide, involved as a priest in residence in Tranmere parish. He is a member of the national Lutheran – Roman Catholic Dialogue, a member of the national Australian Anglican - Roman Catholic Commission and involved with the SA Council of Churches. Recent research has been in the areas of Christology, Trinitarian theology, the dialogue between science and theology, and ecological theology. Recent books include: Jesus and the Natural World: Exploring a Christian Approach to Ecology; How God Acts: Creation, Redemption and Special Divine Action; Ecology at the Heart of Faith; Breath of Life: A Theology of the Creator Spirit.
