Executive Director Fund

Rev. Dr Chris Mulherin was appointed ISCAST's first executive director in March 2017. This board decision was made in faith, trusting that funds would arrive to cover Chris's initial three days per week.

Thank you to those people who have already made donations to support the work of the executive director. However, more donations are needed to fulfil our vision of promoting the public conversation about science and Christian faith.

If each member of ISCAST were to donate $500 we would cover our target easily. The thermometer shows funds raised for the 2017 calendar year. As of September 6, we have raised $77,345 towards Chris's salary and associated expenses.

Funds raised as of 6 September 2017

This year Chris is working on

  • organising our Conference on Science and Christianity (COSAC 2018) concurrently with the World Science Festival in Brisbane next March;
  • planning visits to Adelaide, Canberra, Perth, and Brisbane, and perhaps New Zealand;
  • conducting a thorough review of our communications—our web presence, our social media activity, our online journal;
  • speaking at numerous schools, camps, training days, churches, and other events;
  • launching a science and faith book series in conjunction with an established publisher.

If you wish to support Chris, we can accept monthly or one-off payments via direct bank transfer, cheque, PayPal, or credit card.

Please download a donation form below, click the PayPal button or contact the office to arrange your donation.

Chris has a full program and your support makes his work possible.

With thanks,
Richard Gijsbers
Secretary, ISCAST
